From the Tibetan Plateau to you is this luxurious Yak Down yarn. The down is harvested on the Plateau by Tibetan nomads, spun in China, then sent to us.
This is a DK weight yarn, 6 sts to the inch on a US 5.
About 200 yards on a 90 gram skein.
Finishing: Gently block finished pieces using a spritz bottle to dampen fabric. Press gently into shape and allow to dry thoroughly. For best results, block lightly after each wash.
Care,Hand wash cool water. Dry flat. Do not hang dry.
These yarns are gently spun to preserve the extraordinary softness of the fiber, so expect mild shedding in the first few washes.
