From the Designer: I thought Tunisian crochet would be a fun challenge. The name is inspired by the small town in Indiana that hosts Amish Acres Arts & Crafts Festival, something I’ve gone to quite a few times because my dad is a potter and sells his wares there quite often.
Emily Kausalik is a doctoral student at the University of Texas at Austin. Knitting began as a throw-away hobby one boring summer during her undergraduate studies at Butler University in Indianapolis but quickly became an obsession. Her preference is for cowls, cables, and geometric shapes, and she also loves amigurumi and crocheted toys. Emilyâs knitting philosophy is to let the yarn do the talking.
