Lacis Metal Swift
A smoothly operating metal swift with flexible covered ribs for the finest of threads featuring one hand adjustment for skeins up to 60″, integral handle that permits use as a winder, adjustable table clamp permitting vertical, horizontal or angled operation.
We recommend this swift for use with smaller hand-crank ball winders as it has very low drag (smooth rotation) that helps prevent over-tensioning. It’s also small and easy to store away when not in-use and can be used as a skein-winder for handspun yarns or to wind-off of cones.
